| In 1894 Otto Zschimmer & Max Schwarz founded a wholesale
business for chemicals, dyestuffs and pharmaceuticals
in Chemnitz, Germany. The enterprise flourished and prospered.
Manufacture of chemical products was added in 1909. The
firm operated three plants located at Greiz-Dölau,
Heinrichshall in Thuringia and Grünberg in Bohemia.
In 1939, a plant for manufacturing chemical and tanning
products was acquired at Lahnstein / Rhein. After World
War II, this location became the headquaters of today's
international group. |
